The role
Edit performance video ads, short-form clips and long-form YouTube for clients doing six figures a month. Paid trial per piece, then a monthly retainer with a performance bonus.
What you'll do
- Edit 8-12 Meta video ads a month per client, plus test variants
- Cut hooks, angles and 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 formats for testing
- Produce VSLs, webinar videos and sales assets for funnels
- Turn long-form into reels, shorts and clips with readable subtitles
- Edit long-form YouTube videos and make thumbnails
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- Strong editing, motion and subtitles in Premiere and After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
- Sense of pacing: a hook in the first 3 seconds, then cut the rest
- Fast workflow you can explain: templates, presets, batching, AI shortcuts
- Tidy file management, naming and deliveries
- VAT number (P.IVA) open or ready to open
Nice to have
- Ad creatives that ran in campaigns, with results to show
- Experience with processes, templates and training other editors
