The role
You'll support on-air shows at a Lafayette radio station and publish daily local content across web, app and social. The work is on-site, with possible on-air time depending on your skills.
What you'll do
- Support live on-air shows Monday through Friday and prep daily show content
- Write and publish at least two original local articles a day for the website and app
- Create and edit WordPress articles, videos, galleries and short-form social posts
- Screen calls, coordinate guests and handle listener interaction during segments
- Represent the station at remotes, live broadcasts and community events

Must-haves
- Proven experience creating original written digital content
- Strong on-air presence and ability to connect with listeners
- Basic knowledge of FCC rules and regulations
- Can operate control boards and remote broadcast equipment
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance and a vehicle
