The role
You'll find the best moments in long NFL podcast episodes and cut them into hook-first short-form clips. It's ongoing freelance work with a distributed team, 8–16 hours a week.
What you'll do
- Review podcast episodes to find the most shareable moments
- Edit short clips for Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts
- Write strong hooks and structure clips for retention
- Add captions, graphics, B-roll, sound effects and motion elements
- Make thumbnails and share clip ideas with the podcast and social team
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- Deep knowledge of and genuine interest in the NFL
- Proven short-form video work, ideally cutting long podcasts into clips
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop
- Color grading, motion graphics and basic audio cleanup skills
- Ability to hit tight turnaround times while working remotely
Nice to have
- Experience editing sports, football or podcast content
- Experience with creators or digital media brands
