The role
You'll run X accounts for football clients, covering games in real time and turning sports moments into shareable posts. It's about 15 hours a week, with game-day availability expected.
What you'll do
- Post, reply and engage on X daily, including live game and event coverage
- Write copy in a voice that fits the brand and the culture of the sport
- Monitor breaking news and trends, and decide when to jump in
- Manage content calendars around each client's sports schedule
- Track impressions, engagement and follower growth, and report what works
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- 1+ years managing social accounts, ideally in sports or entertainment
- Deep knowledge of X formats, algorithm, quote-post culture, Spaces and video
- Strong, accurate writing that's funny when it's called for
- Comfort working nights, weekends and holidays when games are on
- Judgment to post fast without posting sloppy
Nice to have
- Basic video editing and graphic design (CapCut, Premiere, Canva, Photoshop)
- Familiarity with football, NIL rules and FTC disclosure requirements
- Existing following or track record of engaging sports content
