The role
You'll take social videos from pitch to final edit for a major entertainment brand's channels and app, working with celebrity talent. You'll also be the last social video staffer on in the evenings.
What you'll do
- Pitch, film and edit social-first videos for TikTok, Reels and the app
- Conduct interviews and produce celebrity talent
- Cover red carpet events, filming, editing and posting on site
- Make article-treatment videos during breaking news, working independently in the evenings
- Assist the Senior Content Creator with pre-production and talent questions

- Proficiency editing in Adobe Premiere on tight deadlines
- Expertise in TikTok and Reels, with a focus on reaching Gen Z
- Proven record of building and growing audiences for media or digital brands
- Strong news judgment, using performance data to guide decisions
- Availability for live events and evening breaking-news shifts
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or a related field
