The role
A founder-led Connecticut food business wants one person to run production across its social channels, with short-form editing at the core. You'll edit, film, schedule and pitch ideas, with the founder approving final tone.
What you'll do
- Edit Reels, TikToks and Shorts from start to finish
- Cut longer YouTube-style videos from longer recordings
- Film on location with a camera and phone, plus footage sent to you
- Publish and schedule natively, adapting format, captions and tone per platform
- Keep a content calendar and footage library, and pitch trend-based ideas
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- Editing portfolio covering short-form (most important) and longer-form video
- Hands-on editing in CapCut, Final Cut Pro or similar software
- Comfortable filming with a camera and phone, and on-site some days
- Knowledge of what performs on TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Reliable with deadlines, and able to take creative direction

- Food or hospitality content experience
