The role
Open Goal is hiring a hands-on Social Media Executive in Glasgow to turn long-form shows into social-first video and create original content around podcasts, partnerships and live events. You'll work with the Content & Social Media Manager and the production team.
What you'll do
- Edit, caption and format short clips from podcasts and vlogs for each platform
- Produce and publish social content for commercial partners to brief and deadline
- Join travel shoots and capture reactive, social-first content on location
- Film, edit and publish promos for releases, watchalongs and live events
- Help build monthly performance reports for commercial partners
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- Edited and posted short-form video for public brands with large audiences
- Confident in CapCut or similar editing software
- Strong grasp of Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and other major platforms
- Comfortable filming on cameras or smartphones
- Willing to work occasional evenings, weekends and travel
Nice to have
- Experience with sports, entertainment or media brands
- Motion graphics, colour grading or photography
- Knowledge of Scottish and UK football
