The role
You'll own a sports media brand's social channels, creating and publishing original short-form video every day. It's a hands-on maker role, not a management or deck-building job.
What you'll do
- Run day-to-day social across Instagram, X, YouTube Shorts and TikTok
- Appear on camera for commentary, quick takes, reactions and recurring series
- Shoot social-first video on iPhone at events and talent shoots
- Repurpose long-form talent content into native, platform-ready clips
- Track performance and iterate on what works
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- 0 to 4 years creating content for social platforms
- Fluent in the native language of TikTok, Instagram, X and YouTube Shorts
- Deep knowledge of sports culture, leagues and athletes
- Natural on camera, delivering in one or two takes
- Short-form editing in CapCut, Premiere or similar
Nice to have
- Experience with athletes, talent or sports media
- Graphic design in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with AI video tools like Descript or OpusClip
