The role
You'll shoot, edit and deliver 9:16 video and stills for a defence drone maker's Reels, Shorts and LinkedIn. Video comes first, with photography a smaller, regular part of the job.
What you'll do
- Shoot short-form vertical video at sites, test ranges, exercises and trade shows
- Shoot stills of hardware, engineers and events for LinkedIn and Instagram carousels
- Edit for retention with strong hooks, cut rhythm and sound-off captions
- Turn the Social Creative's briefs into finished pieces and pitch your own visual hooks
- Recut long 16:9 footage to 9:16 and keep clips named, tagged and archived

- Portfolio of short-form vertical video you both shot and edited
- Hook timing, safe-zone text and captions for sound-off viewing
- Can read a retention graph and say what to change in the next cut
- Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, plus Lightroom for photo edits
- Camera craft: lavalier audio in wind, stable handheld, same-day turnaround
