Plushie Pals is hiring an in-house creator to develop, film and edit short-form videos that bring toys, plushies and characters to life. There's room to contribute to longer YouTube videos too.
What you'll do
- Develop original video concepts built around toys, plushies and characters
- Create simple stories and visual jokes that hold viewers' attention
- Stage scenes, arrange props and move plushies to bring characters to life
- Film and edit with thoughtful framing, pacing, sound effects, music and captions
- Adapt social trends into playful, family-friendly videos
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- Prior experience making YouTube content, personal projects count
- Experience creating for TikTok, YouTube Shorts or similar platforms
- Practical filming and video-editing skills
- Sense of humor, visual storytelling and timing
- Ability to work independently from idea to finished video
Nice to have
- Toy videos, puppetry, stop-motion or miniature sets
- Product photography experience
- Knack for making an ordinary object feel like a character
