The role
Nebula is hiring a remote Video Editor to join its production team, working with producers and other editors on videos for the platform and its creator roster. You'll cut long and short-form content on tight deadlines.
What you'll do
- Edit narrative, unscripted and YouTube content, from long-form to short-form
- Cut sponsor reads, marketing materials and sizzle reels
- Match each channel's established style and brand guidelines
- Keep timelines, projects and assets organized within a set structure
- Work with producers and editors, and talk honestly with management
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- Experience editing in a studio environment
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, with basic After Effects
- Experience building a cohesive narrative from raw footage
- Experience researching and placing b-roll or stock footage
- Comfort working on multiple projects under tight deadlines
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Slack, Frameio and DaVinci Resolve
- Familiarity with Dropbox in remote work
- Basic grasp of audio and color fundamentals
