The role
You'll produce long-form interviews and short-form clips for a top-listened true crime podcast and its sister shows. It's a temporary six-month role working with the podcast producers and marketing team.
What you'll do
- Produce long-form YouTube videos from recording to final publish
- Turn podcast moments into Shorts, reels and other short-form clips
- Create thumbnails, titles and caption copy for YouTube videos and Shorts
- Build social plans with show producers to promote new episodes and events
- Track views, reach and engagement and feed insights into the creative plan
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- Proven long-form and short-form video work, especially talk or interview formats
- Strong storytelling instincts for picking moments that hook viewers
- Solid grasp of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Facebook performance
- Editing skills in Premiere Pro, Final Cut or After Effects, plus Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva
- Works to East Coast business hours (9 am to 5 pm ET) on a 6-month contract
Nice to have
- Experience in podcast or editorial-driven media brands
- Familiarity with audio editing or podcast production workflows
