You'll build and run social strategy that promotes Omaha as a visitor destination, creating content for platforms from Instagram to YouTube. The work includes video, tourism partner relationships and crisis messaging.
What you'll do
- Create a social media strategy that promotes Omaha as a visitor destination
- Produce content for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and more
- Manage the events calendar and write for the Visitors Guide and website
- Monitor online conversations and engage when appropriate
- Track social analytics and report on their impact on marketing
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- Skill in videography and video editing
- Bachelor's in PR, communications, journalism or related, plus 1 year's experience
- Valid motor vehicle operator's license
- Flexible hours, weekends and holidays
- Able to travel independently by air, domestic and international
Nice to have
- One year of crisis communications experience if assigned to that area
