The role
You'll grow social audiences for several film titles and the company brand across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. The work covers strategy, copy, short-form edits, and moderation, with AI used to speed up the workflow.
What you'll do
- Build and run content calendars tied to film production and release milestones
- Cut short-form reels and stories from documentary, film and TV footage
- Write copy and design posts in a consistent brand voice across projects
- Moderate comments, answer DMs and track analytics to refine strategy
- Create press kits and email mailouts for each film

Must-haves
- Proven ability to build and hold a brand voice on social
- Strong self-organisation and repeatable workflows across several productions
- Experience using AI to build workflows, or a commitment to learning it
- Short-form editing in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar
- Strong copywriting tuned to social, plus end-to-end channel management
Nice to have
- Background in Australian independent film or documentary
- Photography and Lightroom Classic for event coverage
- Motion graphics or animation skills
