The role
The Crown Macro Letter wants a videographer embedded on its Chicago trading desk, filming traders and leadership as they work. You'll turn raw desk footage into short-form clips for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X.
What you'll do
- Embed with the desk daily and capture raw, authentic footage
- Film morning prep, the market open, team talks and trader reactions
- Shoot vertical and horizontal formats for each platform
- Edit and deliver short-form clips for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X
- Build a footage and B-roll archive and plan content with leadership
What they're looking for
Must-haves
- Genuine interest in finance, investing and global markets
- Portfolio of documentary, vlog or day-in-the-life work
- Comfortable shooting handheld, on mobile and on mirrorless cameras
- Fast, clean editing in Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci or Final Cut
- A low profile on the desk: knows when to step in and when to stay out of the way
Nice to have
- Finance, trading or business content experience
- Your own trading or investing experience
- Track record of growing a social account, yours or a brand's
