The role
Spiegel Media GmbH needs an editor to turn raw footage into long-form YouTube videos with strong hooks and story. You'll work in-house in Viernheim alongside editors, editorial and production.
What you'll do
- Edit long-form YouTube videos for Omid Mouazzen's channel
- Turn large amounts of raw footage into videos with strong hooks and drama
- Own the cut from footage selection through sound design and effects
- Optimise videos for audience retention and performance
- Hit deadlines at high output and develop productions with the team

Must-haves
- Proven experience editing YouTube long-form or story-driven formats
- Confident in DaVinci Resolve and/or Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong sense of storytelling, timing, dramaturgy and emotion
- Sharp grasp of grammar, language precision and logical argument
- Portfolio links to your best videos, with your role on each
